The guitar tuner below has 6 buttons that are reference notes to help you get your guitar into Standard Tuning. Standard Guitar Tuning is the notes E A D G B and E from the 6th to the 1st strings.
Below the 6th string is on the far left, and the 1st string on the far right. Click on the button for the string you want to tune once. The note will then keep repeating until you press the button again to turn it off.

To raise the pitch of a string you need to turn the tuning pegs that face up counter clockwise. If they face down you need to turn clockwise to raise the pitch. When tuning a guitar it’s good to lower the pitch of the string a little first, and then raise it up until it matches the note you are hearing.
