Well after months of hard work, the first phase of the new Cyberfret.com site has arrived. I founded Cyberfret.com way back in 1999, yes…right before the world was suppose to end with Y2K.
But we survived, and while over the last 12 years there have been changes, this is the most significant in both technology and content. This new site has a lot of cool features that I know are going to help you learn guitar easier and have some fun doing it.
For one the new focus of the site is video guitar lessons. We had videos before, but now you will find all of the new lessons are going to be full featured video lessons along with written explanations and notation. So we have you covered no matter what your learning style is. You can watch, read and do.
You can now leave comments or ask questions about lessons right on the lesson page. And even leave a video comment on YouTube if you want and just paste the URL right in the comments section and video will appear.
There is also a very cool interval ear training program to help get your ears into shape.
The lessons now have a music stand printout PDF file available. Which includes just the exercises, chord charts or other notation that you might want to have in front of you when practicing. And if you do want to print out the text of the page as well, there is a printer friendly page option that gives you an easy way to do that.
But enough of me yapping here. Head on over to the site tour page and watch the video there that explains all of the features of the new site.
There are some other additions planed as well, like a new forum and even some live online interactive guitar classes. But more on that later.
Please leave your comments about the new site below. I’d love to hear what you think.
And of course if you find something that is not working, please go to the contact page and sent me a message with as much detail as possible about the issue you are having. And we will try and get it fixed ASAP.
Have a good one
