In this video guitar lesson you will learn an Am fusion guitar lick that uses double pull-offs. Actually you can play this guitar lick over many different styles from rock to blues to country. But it just happens that I’m demonstrating the lick over a jazz fusion jam track. So I will call it a fusion lick.

Am Fusion Guitar Lick Tablature
Here is the tablature for this guitar lick.
Having 2 pull-offs in a row makes playing this guitar lick fast much easier. Below is the tablature for the same lick without the open strings. Same notes but you will never be able to play it as fast.
A Minor Pentatonic Scale
This guitar lick comes out of a basic A Minor Pentatonic Scale. Even the open strings come from the A Minor Pentatonic Scale.
Playing the Lick in Other Keys
While this fusion guitar lick works great in the key of Am, you can try moving it around to other keys as well. Some keys will sound better than others. Sometimes the open strings will be in the key, and sometimes they wont. But in the end those open strings happen so fast that even when they are “wrong notes” the lick can work.
