Sometimes when you’re playing a song you’ll have the freedom to embellish the chords. Chord embellishment often involves adding or taking away fingers in a chord to create motion and some extra spice. In this video guitar lesson I’m going to show you how to embellish a basic A chord.
(Video Guitar Lesson)
There are a lot of ways you could embellish different guitar chords. But the easiest path to get started is to learn different groups of chords that work well together in most situations. This lesson is all about embellishing an A chord. So I’m going to be showing you 2 common sets of chords that will allow you to easily embellish a basic A chord.
These sets of guitar chords can be played in any order. But try and focus on the main chord…A, and then use the other chords in each set so add some interest and motion.
