Reading Guitar Arpeggio Charts
(Vertical Perspective)

Another way that you will often see arpeggio charts written is from a vertical perspective. This is the same way that you read guitar chord charts…or if you were looking at the neck of your guitar when sitting in a guitar stand.

This is played the same way as the arpeggio chart written from the horizontal perspective. Get used to reading arpeggio charts both way. You may prefer one way over the other, but you will see both equally.
