I was just in New York City visiting my brother. While there I was able to experience some incredible music.
One of the shows was Suzanna Choffel on Stage 1 of the Rockwood Music Hall. A small stage that was the platform for some huge sounds that night. Arguably one of the greatest live music performances I have ever seen.
Before last week I had never heard of Suzanna Choffel. I was just looking for some live music options. I came across the venue and started exploring the artists who were going to be playing. She grabbed me as soon as I started listening.
I don’t really watch TV, so I didn’t know that she was a contestant on the NBC show “The Voice” in 2012. She did not win…although she should have. She has an incredible voice.
Here are a couple of songs to check out from Suzanna Choffel.
First, here is a cover of “Lasndslide” from Fleetwood Mac that she played for her audition on “The Voice”.
“Landslide” Fleetwood Mac Cover from The Voice
The next 4 songs are live performances of her original music. Powerful voice and powerful songwriter as well.
“Animal”
“Hey Mister”
“Archer”
“Raincloud”
Thank You Suzanna for an incredible music experience.
