This is pretty cool. Commander Chris Hadfield on board the International Space Station has become the first space rock star.
He recorded the vocals and guitar for his version of “Space Oddity” by David Bowie in zero gravity while orbiting the Earth traveling at 27,685.7 km/h.
So it’s the first space recording session and the first music video made in space.
In February of 2013 astronaut Chris Hadfield also made music history with the first Space/Earth musical collaboration with the band Barenaked Ladies.
Now that’s some out of this world music 🙂
