More Guitar Lesson
There are a lot of free guitar lessons and articles here on Cyberfret.com. Here are a couple of other sections you might take a look at.

There is more information about chords in the guitar chords section of the site
To help build you technique and develop your ear, you should learn some scales. Take a look in the guitar scales section for some lessons.
You will probably find that many of the songs I have suggested have more than just basic chords and strumming. You will need to understand some of the basic techniques that are used on the guitar. Check out the Guitar Techniques section of the site for more information about techniques like hammer-on's, pull-off's, slides, bends, harmonics and more.
