Frequently Asked Questions

Q - When I try to print a page, part of the words get cut off. How can I print pages on your site?
A - This site is designed for a screen resolution of 1024 by 768. This is too wide for printing in normal portrait mode (8.5 by 11). If you go the file menu, then page set up, and change the setting to landscape mode (11 by 8.5 ) you will be able to print the page. In the end Cyberfret.com is meant to be an online resource. Some lesson have have a printer friendly option for key parts of the lesson, but in general this site was not designed with printing in mind.

Q - Is there any way I can just download all of the lessons in a zip files so that I can view them offline?
A - No. Cyberfret.com is an online resource.

Q - I can't get the video/audio/MIDI files to play.
A - The video and audio files are in a few different formats. Some are in Real Player format, others are in Widows Media Player format, and some are in Adobe Flash format. If you are having trouble with any of the audio or video files, try upgrading to the latest player for the format the file is in. Also some problems can stem from various browser oriented bugs. If you are having general problems with the site, try using the latest version of Windows Internet Explorer instead of browsers like AOL.

Here are the links for the various media players.
